Austin Michelson was born in 2001 and raised in the shadow of the bustling arts scene of Nashville, Tennessee, one of the fastest growing cities in the country. It was here that Austin cut his teeth in the theater, playing major roles in productions like Beauty and the Beast and Elf the Musical as part of a local children's theater group.

 

After graduating from Columbia State Community College in 2020 with his associate's degree in Theatre Arts, Austin relocated to Savannah, Georgia to further his education. He received his Bachelor's degree in Film & Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2023.

Towards the end of 2023, Austin began working as a production assistant at WSAV in Savannah, eventually working his way into the newsroom as a news producer. You can watch the shows Austin produces every weekend at 6pm and 11pm on WSAV.

In his free time, Austin enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and their cat, developing new screenplays, and catching up with the newest releases on the big and small screen.
